A zoo and botanical garden that exhibits more than 60 kinds of animals, and also has plants and a green house. The penguin exhibit boasts the biggest ceiling tank in Japan, and when you look up, it looks like the penguins are flying.
An arch bridge that was build in 1955 between Sasebo and Saikai. The swirling rapids of Hario-seto are known as one of the three biggest tides of Japan.
A Japan Coast Guard radio transmission station located in Kanibaruajima. The radio towers, which are made from three concrete pillars, are the highest and oldest self-standing radio towers.
